Call for Participation – Working Group on a CO₂ Calculation Tool for Surface Treatment
VOM is launching a working group to develop a sector-specific CO₂ emissions calculation tool for its members.
Together with its partner MOORE, the objective is to create a practical and user-friendly tool that reflects the realities of surface treatment technologies.
To ensure that the tool accurately reflects the processes, energy and material flows, and available data within companies, we are looking for a number of experts from VOM member companies who are willing to contribute to this working group.
Who are we looking for?
- Employees with knowledge of production processes in the surface treatment industry;
- Individuals with insight into the operational, energy, or environmental data available within their company;
- Companies willing to contribute to a practical and usable approach.
What do we expect?
- Participation in several workshops (late June, early July, and late August 2026);
- Testing the first version of the tool at the end of August 2026;
- Providing constructive feedback on the methodology and user-friendliness of the tool.
