Gids voor bescherming van staal tegen corrosie

The first edition ' Guide for protection of steel against corrosion ' (publication may 2012) has just been released. This document is published by Info shank, in collaboration with VOM vzw (Belgian Association for surface finishing techniques) and zinc Info-Benelux (the Trade Association for hot-dip galvanising). This guide, in the form of a practical folder, describes coating systems to protect against corrosion to steel structures, regardless of whether these structures are locates inside buildings or that they are exposed to the outside air. The purpose of this guide is to provide guidance to all actors in the construction (clients, architects, engineering offices ...) involved in the design, construction, maintenance and renovation of buildings. There is a number of solutions for anti-corrosion protection recommended, based on the corossion-scale (C1 to C5). These solutions for the protection of steel against corrosion are presented in the form of a summary table.
