Considering the increasing temperatures and the possibly more frequent heatwaves during summer, KU Leuven and Archipelago Architects, commissioned by the Belgian association for shutters and sun protection VEROZO, conducted a study on the risks and solutions for residential construction in Belgium.
Providing summer comfort is becoming a prerequisite for future-proof building design. This starts with fundamental design choices and adapted regulations, potentially also influencing the selection of coating systems.
