The regulatory framework surrounding chromium trioxide (CrO₃) is evolving significantly in Europe, with potential REACH restrictions and revised occupational exposure limits (OELs) for Cr(VI) raising important questions for European industry.
In Europe, chromium trioxide remains essential to a number of critical downstream applications. Any significant tightening of the regulatory framework could therefore have far-reaching consequences for European users, particularly SMEs and strategically important sectors such as aerospace and defence.
Supported by CETS, this dedicated industry workshop will bring together users and key stakeholders to assess the potential implications of these regulatory developments and discuss the challenges facing European industry.
